CareerDC Internships charge a fee for the coordination of each internship program. You will get a tailored resume, interview training, unlimited interviews, access to our network of host companies, an internship placement relevant to your studies, an accredited WIL course (where applicable) and support during your internship.

The 12-week Mechanical Engineering Internship Program is designed for students in Australia who want hands-on industry experience, skill development, and academic credit. The program is open to both domestic and international students enrolled in Australian universities or colleges.

No problem. You can still enrol in the Mechanical Engineering Internship Program and combine your work experience placement with an accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.

Your internship tasks may involve:

• Reviewing quotations and comparing them to specifications, drawings, and scope of work
• Ensuring engineering services meet relevant codes and standards
• Assisting with documentation and transmittals
• Developing project specifications with multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding product design and evaluation processes
• Supporting project managers and technicians with inspections and functional testing
