Purpose of Role 

Internship role within the Loans & Specialized Finance (LSF) department, to support the origination and execution of loan capital market opportunities.

LSF originates loans from plain vanilla to complex/ structured transactions (including syndicated corporate loans, corporate acquisition loans, leveraged loans, bridge loans, share financings, etc), for large and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, private equity sponsors and promoters / high net worth individuals (HNWI) across Asia-Pacific.  

What You Will Do

• Analyzing market data, company financials and peer group analysis.
• Building and sensitizing financial and valuation models.
• Preparing client presentations for origination and structuring of financing and capital markets transactions.
• Preparing credit proposals to support underwriting, arranging and participating in transactions.
• Assisting in managing client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of leaders. 

Required Skills and Abilities

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• Agile, flexible and resilient.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Prior related internship within the banking industry is an advantage. 

Please note that this is an internship that may require you to defer university studies for the period of the assignment. 

Start date is early July 2024.
