 Key Performance Areas: 

• Provide expert technical support for network infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft operating systems, hardware, software, antivirus, and backup systems. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet and email connectivity, with a strong focus on routing methodologies. 
• Utilize exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges efficiently. 
• Communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding and resolution of client issues.
• Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, delivering exceptional written and verbal communication. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

Competencies: 

• Some Proficiency in network infrastructure technologies, encompassing Microsoft operating systems, hardware, software, antivirus, and backup technologies. 
• Some Proficiency in internet and email connectivity methodologies, including routing. 
• Strong technical aptitude with exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-centric approach with exemplary written and verbal communication abilities.  

Minimum formal Qualifications: 

• Grade 12 or equivalent. 
• Bachelor's degree/ National Diploma in Computer science, Information Technology or related field.
• A+ (CompTIA certification).

The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) exists to improve the cross-border flow of commuters and freight operators who make use of road transport. 
 
Its function as an interstate operations agency is to reduce mobility constraints for road transport operators, in the form of regulating market access and issuing cross-border permits, while facilitating sustainable social and economic development in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. 
 
The C-BRTA is proud to have remained the driving force behind the region’s cross-border business focus for more than 20 years.
