Job description - Operations Graduate
If you want to understand how global freight businesses operate – this is the perfect graduate operations role for you. In this operations graduate role, you will join a small expert team and have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business.

You can expect hands-on training from day one and hone your supply chain and logistics skills.

Key responsibilities - Operations Graduate
This Operations Graduate role in Auckland will include the following tasks but not limited to:

• 2 days a week - warehouse duties and learning about distribution (e.g. moving containers, data entry).
• Driving to customs, collecting documents and small shipments from the airport.
• 3 days a week - operations training in import air and sea freight.
• Training in Cargowise, data entry and arranging shipments.

There will also be an opportunity in the future to move into other departments' exports for sea and air freight.

Job requirements - Operations Graduate

For this Supply Chain graduate job, we are looking for:

• Willingness to learn - this will be an excellent training ground to kickstart a career in operations, supply chain and logistics.
• Well-versed with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).  
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
• Team player & positive person!  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
• Strong attention to detail is a must.  
• Great organisational skills.
