TEGT Engineering Intern

The Programme

The Technical Equipment Group - Test (TEGT) is a process and equipment centric powerhouse comprising of self-motivated, data-driven, and result-oriented members.  
 
We are looking for a Module Engineer, a highly energetic and innovative individual who has a strong technical background to drive the best equipment performance and product quality in a safe and cost-effective manner.

What You Will Do

  • Develop breakthrough equipment-handling processes, define process requirements and specifications. 
  • Review, improve, and optimize processing techniques and methods applied in high volume manufacturing. 
  • Work on complex issues that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors. 
  • Empowered to conduct critical resolution for TEGT operation needs. 
  • Engage and lead new technology transfers and integration. 
  • Partner with your peers and manufacturing teams to maintain equipment, meeting highest production standards. 
  • Compile and analyze test data to determine variables and appropriate limits for process and material specifications. 
  • Empowered to conduct critical data science training for Test operation needs.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • 3rd or 4th year university student who is pursuing bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Finance and/or other relevant technical or engineering discipline. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, data-driven mindset and positive learning attitude. 
  • Resourceful, creative and innovative in coming up with ideas to resolve issues. 
  • Familiar with data analysis using programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc. is an advantage. 
  • Able to work onsite for 3-4days per week. 
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry and manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
