The Programme

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology.

Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Services in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

This position reports to: Service Manager.

What You Will Do

You will be mainly accountable for:

Supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.
Defining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization.

Required Skills and Abilities

Fresh graduate with a bachelor’s in electrical or maximum 1,5 years of working experience in relevant fields (recent graduates from 2023, 2024).
You are highly skilled in understanding market trends and product life cycles in the electrification business.
Ability to demonstrate your experience in evaluating project requirements, cost estimation, proposal development to make sure it’s aligned with company’s guidelines.
You have the ability to collaborate effectively in a team to solve complex problems.
Willing to travel to different locations.
Ability to drive is preferable.
You are at ease communicating in English.
