Company Overview

Website: https://www.nab.com.au/about-us/careers/early-careers

For over 160 years, NAB has been helping our customers with their money. We are motivated to make a positive and sustainable impact in the lives of our customers and communities.

Employing more than 33,000 people serving 8 million customers, at more than 700 locations throughout Australia, New Zealand and around the world, NAB’s committed to helping our customers and communities prosper by funding schools, hospitals, roads and other infrastructure essential to our communities and livelihoods in a responsible, innovative and inclusive way.

How we work is the essence of our culture and how we do things, not just what we do. We action this via our four core elements:

  • Excellence for customers – by putting our customers needs first, getting it right the first time, making banking easy, safe and accessible and creating winning solutions to our customers.
  • Grow Together – through continued learning and growth to be better, prioritising each others wellbeing and coming together to work as a high-performance team.
  • Be respectful – by speaking honestly and supportively, valuing the time and opinions of others and doing what we say we’ll do.
  • Own it – by getting on with the job until it’s resolved and through doing what's right, even when it’s hard.

  • We have an international presence with offices in Asia, Europe and the US

Application Process

Application process and required documents

To apply for any of our programs, visit www.nab.com.au/earlycareers

You'll need to complete an application form. This is where you'll get the chance to tell us about who you are, your skills and your experience. You'll also need to nominate your chosen business area.

Once you have submitted your online application, successful candidates will then go through the following steps:

  1. Online Assessment

a variety of online assessments to identify your capabilities and understand how you work.

  2. The Video Interview

this is where we get to know you better. We’ll ask you a few questions and you’ll record your responses.

  3. The Engagement Centre

our final stage of recruitment which gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills by participating in a range of interactive activities.

Do your research. Understand the business area you've applied for and why you're interested in a career at NAB. You can't change your mind after submitting your online application or starting the program, so please choose carefully.

You'll also need to upload:

  • a copy of your undergraduate academic transcript (non-certified transcript is fine. We use this to confirm your degree discipline and areas of study)
  • a copy of your postgraduate results if you've completed postgraduate study

We don't look at your GPA/WAM, your transcript is a useful reference to confirm degree discipline or major.

Selection Process

Once we've had a look at your application, if you meet our eligibility criteria we'll keep in touch throughout the selection process to let you know how your application is tracking. Make sure you give us the email you most regularly use.
