Your journey with us:

Within one month you will be learning/understanding the product and component details that you will be taking care of.
Within six months you will be able to visit/ travel to supplier sites to see the actual process.
Long term plan – Opportunity to manage the entire mechanical suppliers based in Malaysia as well project enhancement and cross functional exposure globally.

About the role - you will:

Be working with suppliers to develop quality improvement plans and ensure their implementation.
Be conducting supplier audits to evaluate their quality standards and capabilities.
Establish quality standards for raw materials, components, and services.
Monitor and measure supplier performance against established quality metrics
Conduct quality checks to ensure that supplied parts and services meet the established quality standards.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that incoming materials meet the required specifications.
Report to the Manager based in Singapore and this role is based in Johor.

Required Skills and Abilities

About you:

The New Grad Hire role is open for Fresh Graduates in Mechanical Engineering or related field or Graduates within 1 year from Degree completion date with less than 1 year of relevant working experience.
Willingness and Dedications on responsibilities and organization.
Flexibility and able to travel for work to Suppliers' site within Malaysia.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with measurement equipment and statistical analysis tools like CMM, GD&T, and FMEA.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Gantt charts and PERT diagrams.

Soft Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective multitasking and time management skills.

Your experience includes:

Hands-on background of internship projects related to Mechanical Engineering, Quality or relevant fields.
Comprehensive knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies.
Negotiation abilities and PowerPoint presentations.
Accurate data reporting and analysis.
